About the Founders

Chashmaye Nur was founded by Katy Anis and a group of like-minded thinkers.  The inspiration for Eyes of Light came while working in Afghanistan and seeing individuals with tiny resources who gave everything they had to sacrifice for others.  These individuals deserved to be recognized but there was no formal medium, where their efforts could be rewarded.  Chashmaye Nur was created to address this need.
